Webhooks

Enable a webhook URL and shared secret. Choose which events to send (for example Document ready or Document failed). Channels inherit these defaults unless you override them on the channel.

Test a webhook

Use Test webhook in the app to post a sample payload for a recent file or document. Test deliveries include an X-Documate-Test: true header. Always verify X-Documate-Signature — do not trust the test header for authentication.

Email and in-app events

You can also route some events to email recipients or in-app notifications, depending on what your plan enables in the UI. See the full payload contract under Webhooks and API webhooks.
