Create a key

In the Documate app, open API keys, create a key, and copy it once. See API keys.

Preferred:

X-Api-Key: YOUR_API_KEY

Also accepted:

Authorization: ApiKey YOUR_API_KEY

On any API reference page, paste your key into the authentication field labeled X-Api-Key before sending a request.

Never share keys in tickets, screenshots, or public repos. Revoke compromised keys immediately.
